European Union Global Climate Change Alliance Project (EUGCCA)

The Global Climate Change Alliance is an initiative of the European Union, launched in 2007 and coordinated by the European Commission (EC), aimed at strengthening dialogue and cooperation on climate change with developing countries most vulnerable to climate change and supporting their efforts to develop and implement adaptation and mitigation responses. Community Coastal Adaptation Project (C-CAP)

This project is a USAID funded project that operates out of a contractor, Development Alternatives Incorporation (DAI) to which USP has been subcontracted to undertake community engagement and liaison work. A regional project that is providing targeted support to four Pacific Island Countries at a time, to improve coastal adaptation systems mainly through infrastructural support. Read more

Future Climate Leaders Programme (FCLP1)

Climate change education and training is necessary to assist Pacific Islanders in combatting climate change impacts and vulnerabilities in the Pacific region. The AusAID Future Climate Leaders Project 1 (FCLP1) aims to meet this need through the development and delivery of formal and non-formal climate change education in the Pacific. Read more

Enhancing Climate Change in Rural Communities in Fiji Project (ECCA)

The Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation (ECCA) is an AusAID funded project that operates out of the Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development (PaCE-SD) at the University of the South Pacific. ECCA aims to implement climate change adaptation measures in an integrated manner to vulnerable sectors and internalise climate change adaptation in rural communities of Fiji. Read more
